RAISE YOUR MOWER’S HEIGHT FOR
A LAWN THAT’S A CUT ABOVE
Many homeowners cut their lawns short, often under an
inch in height, to get a more manicured look. It’s true that
grass looks nice when you cut it short—the first time.
After that, things go downhill as the stress of a close clip
takes its toll. Grass thins out, and pests and weeds move
in. For a healthier lawn that stays greener through
summer’s heat and drought, and fights back against weeds
and pests, adjust your mower for a 2-3-inch cutting height.
